MISSION TO JOHANNESBURG/CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
Dear friends,
Thank you for your anticipated willingness to participate in our upcoming Medical Mission trip to Johannesburg, South Africa.
In collaboration with local organizations, the team will travel to villages establishing mobile clinics to provide medical, mental, psychosocial and spiritual services. The services will be provided either in a school, local centers or church structures. We will also work in the local lifestyle centers, hospital and clinic educating our peer nurses on physical assessments, stroke warning signs, hypertension, diabetes and cancer. The goal is not simply to deliver health care and related services, but also to empower and support South Africans to meet their own physical and psychosocial needs.
