Dear Friends,

It is very hard for most of us to imagine losing our home, crops, livestock and everything else we own, in a matter of seconds. As you know, the recent Hurricane Matthew in Haiti has incurred much damage and hardship on the lives of many residents.

On behalf of Helping Hands and Beyond (HHB) and those we serve, thank you to all who have contributed to the Hurricane Matthew disaster relief fund. We are profoundly grateful.

With your support and you generous donations, to date, HHB has provided relief aid to help more than 1,000 victims of the devastating Hurricane Matthew.  We’ve provided hygiene kits, food and clothing distribution, counseling, medical assistance and tools that restore hope for a quick recovery.  Thanks to you, the victims are beginning to see a light of hope.

Once again, on behalf of those who benefited from your generosity, please accept our deepest appreciation and hope that you will lend a helping hand in our future projects also.  Rest assured it will be used to help  families toward a measure of stability.

Gratefully,

Helping Hands and Beyond Staff

HURRICANE MATTHEW RELIEF MISSIONS:

"Se la pou w la.. being here during the hurricane gave me a different perspective on life. We were out early this am doing the little that we can to help the community by handing zip lock bags, protein bars, picking up books and furniture at local schools; picking up debris off the street.  The disaster here is just tremendous. Gas station collapsed, school roof tops gone, an entire community flooded, all their crops/plantations gone, water covered the main national roads, people taking shelter on higher ground wherever they can... In the days to come, people will sure need a lot more assistance!!!"  Bergson
